Awesome Experience!

This was exactly what we needed! Peaceful, beautiful and very relaxing. We slept like babies on the boat and even took much needed naps! The staff was helpful and kind. We look forward to going back God willing!

My son and I had a great time. Great location. House boat was a neat experience. The bathrooms were well cared for. I did want to add that Gunner was amazing! Not only did he assist me and answer all my questions I noticed he really works very hard taking care of the property. I witnessed him every day assisting the boaters, raking the beach, taking care of the garbage, check the pool skimmers, keeping the fast boats away from the docks, etc. He rarely stopped moving all day. You are lucky to have him!!

Short walk to the strip

It was a great location. The place was good. The loft is great for little kids. The showers were in a building along withbathrooms. Only use toilet when emergency. The place was great except for that. Would rent again .

Lake Winni Boat House Adventures

We stayed at this boat house for an extra long weekend before the kids went back to school. We booked this house because of its proximity to Laconia and Meredith and it didn’t disappoint. We were able to bike into town and get breakfast smoothies, ice cream and spend all our money at the arcades!! If you are looking for a different vacation rental that your kids will think is cool, this is for you. Lance and the dock hands were very responsive and always available to help. The Awka Marina is well kept, with many things to keep the family busy.

So Happy with the Houseboat

We enjoyed our vacation on the houseboat! Such a beautiful setting on the lake. The Akwa Marina staff (special shout-out to the dockhands) were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Akwa!

Excellent experience!

We stayed on one of the houseboats and had an awesome time! It was a very unique experience. The Beach Bar was amazing, the staff was great and the food was delicious. The only complaint we had was that there was no cable tv and very spotty wi-fi; luckily we had great weather so it wasn't a huge issue! We will definitely be back!

Long weekend

Great Marina and brought back memories of spending a summer on a boat. I enjoy the rocking being on the water. The staff at the marina were outstanding, friendly and very helpful.

Floating Fun!

Amazing unique experience for a small family, my 9 year old son loved the loft with his own space to hang out. The boat is larger than expected but exactly as shown in the photos and all furnishings are new and clean. We didn't expect to be in walking distance to Weirs Beach and it's arcades, pier, shops and restaurants. We had the marina amenities all to ourselves since it was an end of season trip and we fully enjoyed the hot tub, coldplung into the lake, bocce courts and fireside drinks. The poolside bar was already closed so check their Facebook page for off season travel. Short trip to Gunstock and the mountain coaster and hiking. This boat is at the best location for family travel.

Excellent despite the weather

Every was as described. Everything was clean. The place was very cool and had a great set up. It happened to rain the entire stay, but would have been awesome otherwise
