This was a lovely place to spend a weekend. The room we stayed in was very ample and relaxing. The staff was superior and engaging. The continental breakfast was more than enough to get a start to the day. We did have a meal at the restaurant on the property. Food was delicious. Lots of seating options. The property is lakefront with no actual lake access, but it is nice to be so close just for the view. There is a walking rail trail just behind the property that is easily accessible which we used.

The attention to detail was very nice. My wife and I had an excellent dining experience at the restaurant. Our server,”Bee”, was the most attentive and friendly person that we’ve had in a very long time. She was amazing!! The options for breakfast were on the weak side.

For a relatively higher-end hotel/restaurant, we were surprised that the cuisine at the restaurant was underwhelming. Secondly, the toilet paper and tissues in rooms were cheap and abrasive; I would think a good hotel would stock better creature comforts. It's the small things that separate excellence and good, but not great. Also, it is too bad that the hotel doesn't have boats or other ways to enjoy the lake.

Another fantastic weekend at Opechee - rooms are spacious, clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. We stay as much as possible in the summer and we are never disappointed. Worth the money!

Exceeded expectations in every way. A quiet option to other more touristy choices but convenient to activities such a Lake Winnipesauke boat tour. Walked the WOW Trail behind the Inn. Great dinner at Fratellos nearby. Enjoyed sitting on lawn and saw a loon.
