Golfview Hotel and Conference

I stayed in 3 hotels on this trip but this one was certainly a swindle. The appearance and location of the hotel was the catch. The 2 rooms we were given were extremely small with all dilapidated fixtures and not well maintained furniture. The telephones in the 2 rooms booked did not work. We had to go all the way downstairs to communicate with front desk and Resturant. Room service fee was =N=2000 in comparison with similar star hotel who charge only =N=500. Doors were damaged, handles was rusty and brown. Tv was not smart TV. It was a huge disappointment for money paid. Out of all 3 hotels I stayed in the country, this was by far the worse room.

This place is dingy. Opened the refrigerator and there was rotten food there. Noise was coming from the pool very rowdy residents. Customer service and IT dept was great. Towels lost color now off white. Food was very very good it was fire!!

Very Good, Excellent and Fine Hotel

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The check in was smooth and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. My room was big and shower was excellent. Room service was always prompt and I am very happy with the choice of breakfast. I ordered dinner once and was not disappointed. I was able to see Tee offs from hole 6 of the Ikeja Golf course from my room balcony. The new flamboyant Ooni of Ife oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and his royal entourage which is a site to behold arriving with drums and trumpets were also staying at the hotel during my stay and any hotel that is good for the Ooni is certainly good for me.

OK hotel, near airport and safe

The check-in process was very quick. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel itself needs repairs. In our bathroom most things were either out of order or needed repairs. We paid extra for a suite and it was no bigger than your average hotel in the USA. It was definitely not a suite and not worht the $200+ dollars a night we spent. The pool area is nice. They call this hotel Golfview but I did not see any view of the golf course. I'm not a golfer so this was no big deal it was just something I noticed. I checked that I would recommend this hotel to a friend because of its friendly staff, proximity to the airport and the safety. I would not recommend it to any friend looking for luxury.

Firstly I was in room #124 and after 3 days they changed me of room. ANNOYING. In the first, impossible to sleep because the air conditioner in the corridor made a big noise. No water power of the shower. in the second room, the TV operated very bad. At the restaurant, sometimes they didn't have some meals choices.
