I was surprised. The hotel room was pretty nice and clean. The lady who helped at check in was able to change our room to non-smoking as neither one of us smoke and was the last room available. We were very appreciative of that. Food was decent, but nothing to write home about. I wish there were table games however. The wait staff on the casino floor is extremely understaffed. If you like your libations while drinking, that may be an issue. They had 3 people for the entire floor. Not a good look.

We had an amazing stay at Delta Downs! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, welcoming, and well maintained. The housekeeping team was especially wonderful — always greeting us with a cheerful “good morning” or “have a great day.” Their friendliness really made our stay feel personal and comfortable. The racetrack was very well kept, and we were lucky enough to catch the last race of the season. It was such a fun experience and added something special to our trip! The casino was also very clean and organized. The staff did an excellent job continuously picking up trash and wiping down machines, which did not go unnoticed. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the property in top shape. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
