This is one of the best quality/money choice in South Lake Tahoe. I have stayed here multiple times so far. The staff is helpful. The rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. Location is convenient. The price is reasonable. What more can you ask?

The check in was testy. I got the wrong room key and had to go back to the front. The actual room I got was filthy. I had to clean the surfaces myself and a lot of stuff came off of them. The bed has blood stains on it, so I slept with my own blanket, the chair was filthy with old food, so I tried to eat standing up but the clock was catching the radio or WiFi waves from my devices, the wall heater is non functional so the have a plug in heater that you cannot move. No vents in the bathroom. The walls are really thin and I got to know all my neighbors drama.. then I didn’t want to talk in the phone or anything knowing people can hear me.. it was crazy. There’s more but I’ll stop there.
Sleeping atop uncomfortable unclean bed. Looking at the window blinds that close with a literal wooden clothing pin.
Bloody bed.
Wall.
Unclean shower. Flip flops preferably.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. When we first got in the room, it was hard to breeze, it was hot. We immediately switched off the heater and had to keep the door and window open for at least half an hour. It was hot at night too.

The hotel was conveniently located on US 50 and the staff made arrangements for a late check in. However they were a bit stringent on check out time even though the hotel was not booked for that night… they could have easily accommodated my late checkout time request of 2pm as I was running a marathon that day.
