This is the 3rd time I've stayed here. It's always been a pleasant experience. Nothing fancy. Just a simple country hotel in a country location. But that's why I like it. I do miss the rocking chairs, though.

The rooms are old, have an odor, hall are not clean, outside door locks are building do not lock, so security is an issue. Tub was old and had been painted. Bed fram falling apart. It appeared cleaning crew lived in the building with their family and the outside area was nasty.

staff at check in appeared clueless, but could have just been new employee and learning the computer system? took close to 20 minutes to get checked in. Rooms were below average. not really dirty but with several light bulbs out it seemed a bit dim and dingy. we had two rooms and our main issue was that one of the rooms had bed bugs. of course we didn't know that until the next morning when we woke up with bug bites. Motel manager seemed thoughtful and concerned and assured us a credit for the room. still waiting!

Check in was ok. We had our dog with us so we were in the pet friendly area. Smellwas bad in the hallway and had a stench in the room with stains in the carpet. Needs alot of upkeep and update. Breakfast was ok. They ran out of sasauge an hour and a half into breafast and was no other meat offered. Bed and shower seemed clean but if you look past that it mosy likely needs addressed. Close to sights and sounds, Rutters, puzza place and Beer Mart put probably wouldn't stay again.

Welcoming comfortable with some charm

Staff all very professional, helpful and welcoming. Did not us the gym Parking was safe in front of hotel reception. Room, the decor style was older clean and our bathroom refurbished very clean. The hotel has recently been taken over by new proprietors and they are making upgrades. Breakfast was an excellent plenty of choices.

We had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes before dindinf someone to help us..but the guy was sweet he was eating so it didnt bother me. We all need to eat...it was a very good stay..

The room looked like it needed some TLC. One of the decorative post tops on the bed was missing, the handicapped shower had a tile floor that, when wet, was slippery. There was no texture on the floor and my wife was afraid when using the shower. The light in the shower was out; the hairdryer was dirty. There was no closet, just a coated wire rack to hang clothing on (hangers were not provided). The food in the breakfast area was okay, the eggs were rubbery and so crumbly one day that they were inedible. The paper plates were so thin that you needed two or three to hold the food. Overall, this is not a hotel that I would recommend or stay at again.

Within 1 mile of Sights n Sounds Theater and various shops, restaurants and 2-3 miles from plaza, and Tanger Outlet. The Fireside Grill was right beside the Hotel so we could walk right over to it. Lots of parking with nice trees for shade in the parking lot. It’s an older hotel but very clean and comfortable. The lobby smells so good and the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this Hotel if you are going to see plays at the Sights n Sounds theater and want to be close to everything.

Not a great hotel.

Room was very tired and in poor condition. We recognize we are traveling with pets, however, torn and dirty carpet and trash outside the room is not satisfactory. To be fair, the hotel is in a great area and the desk clerk was very helpful.
