Long Term Savage Renters Stay Here

There were long term renters living upstairs that had several kids run around back and forth upstairs. When I went to ask to be moved to a different room the manager said she couldn’t and said she would speak to the mom of the kids. At first she said it was because they didn’t have any other rooms with 2 beds. I asked if she can put us up in a bedroom with 1 bed and she refused. Needless to say that we had to deal with the noisy neighbors. Be aware, this I more like a motel for long term renters. Super sketchy and manager that was present on the evening of the 3rd of July was extremely unhelpful.

Horrible place to stay. Smells like an old Reno casino, has roaches and i did not receive a nonsmoking room like my reservation was for. Staff was rude amd really didnt give an F about the predicament they put me in with all the surrounding hotels sold out for the night.

Quiet spot. Pool was open late😎. Wasn’t large. But good enough for me. Located near many options to eat. Watched NBA final game at a great sports bar near by.would stay again.

All in all, I feel this motel is above average for its class. Room is basic and somewhat small but renovated and very clean. Has a working refrigerator and microwave, both clean. Bathroom is clean. Amenities only include soap, towels and toilet tissue, but I understand you can go to front desk for additional items if needed. The property itself is very clean, but there is an abandoned fenced off motel behind this property that is quite an eyesore and diminishes this property’s aesthetics and sense of safety. However, all vehicles in this property’s parking lot must be checked in and display a parking pass, the ice machine can only be accessed with a key card, discouraging public use, and there are security cams all around the property, so I felt secure. There is an IHOP right next door for dining, which is convenient. The motel is located right off the highway, and is a great place to stop for a nights rest.

This location is in the worst neighborhood ever! There was lot's of police activity as well as solicitation. In fact, there was a police car chasing a woman down the street and into the motel parking lot as I was checking into my room! Also, I had requested a smoke free room on Expedia and when I got to the room it was clear I did not get one. The room reeked of smoke and the walls were yellow-even the tub had multiple cigarette burns on the edge. I was there for an event and was already running late so I got dressed quickly, gathered all my belongings (I did not feel safe leaving them behind as the other residents were looking inside my room every time I opened the door) and left. After placing my things into my car I noticed they already reeked of smoke!! I only returned the next day to check out and explained to the front desk the situation/issue. She said she did not see my request for a non-smoking room on her end and said it was Expedia's fault and said to contact them to file a complaint. Expedia tried contacting them by phone multiple times but the Motel never answered their phone so I had to wait a couple of days to get a resolution to my dispute and of course Motel 6 denied it. I spoke with a few local residents of Lancaster and they ALL knew of this Motel and told me it was one of the worst ones in the area and it was notorious for solicitation. It is also where the unhoused population are referred to when given public assistance or emergency housing.
