The hotel has been beautifully remodeled and looks really great. My room on the 12th floor had a view of the Strat near by, and downtown Vegas with the mountains in the background. The room was very lovely, and great materials were used in designing it. With soft neutral colors, a pretty silk orchid plant, nice lighting and mirrors, chairs and comfortable king bed, lots of drawer space, desk, & good size flat screen tv, I couldn’t have been more comfortable or more pleased. The blackout curtains really darkened the room nicely, and I slept longer and better than I thought I would. The shower and bathroom were very nice too. We actually live here in LV but I wanted to be close to a hospital where my husband was having surgery and chose the Sahara. I would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel for any reason, and would come here again sometime, even for just a ‘staycation’.

The room we booked had a window in the room to watch you shower and a random mirror on the ceiling. That was WEIRD. We switched rooms and we were happy during the stay. Valet staff was excellent. Customer service at Magic Mike show was amazing! Wish we got to see more of the hotel pool and spa but maybe next time. It was too far from the strip but the train was accessible.

The front desk attempted to charge me an early check-in fee, and also said they would throw in a complementary room upgrade. Upon visiting a room, it was clearly an outdated un renovated room from the 1970s that was also filthy and smelled horrible. I complained to the front desk and they moved me to my original accommodation which was an updated room, but it was also filthy and subpar. I traveled Vegas quite a bit and wouldn’t have considered a hotel but my employer provided me a limited budget for the day so I chose the Sahara. I would definitely not recommend and will not be visiting the property in the future.
