This was our second time staying at Sahara , such a beautiful hotel . Love the sports restaurant. We had a hiccup on arrival we could not check in early. We arrived at 1am on a Friday. Which our stay was from friday-monday. Front desk told us they were fully booked and that we wouldn't be able to check in until 8am . We were extremely tired and decided to book another hotel until our room at sahara was ready, however front desk gave us hope that we could possible check in if a room opened up so. We lounged around the hotel until 8am. We went to check with front desk to check on room availability, and we were ready to pay whatever extra fees so we could get some rest but we were told housekeeping doesn't clean up until all the guest check out at 11am. We left the hotel beat and went on the strip to eat breakfast we received a text at 12:30pm saying our room was ready. It was extremely frustrating that we could not be accommodated but we noted in the future to always pay for the day before even if we got there the next day i guess. Other than that incident everything went great. Recommend booking late check out in advance as well . As that option was also not available for our stay.

The room was really nice with a lot of space. We were able to heat up food in the room using a small rice cooker. The bathroom was nice as well, beds comfortable. The black out shade was nice but kept messing up and not working we had someone come and fix it but it kept getting tangled. I wasn’t a fan of the restaurant selections and no 24 hour food spot off hand. The breakfast was so greasy me and my friend did not eat it, we didn’t have time to complain. We were there for an event that took the majority of our time. The room was so nice and staff was great.

Our room was fine but we arrived an in town an hour and a half before 4:00 check in and they charged us $25 to get in the room 'early'. We had no choice as we had to be somewhere at 3:00. Was not impressed as MGM four days earlier got us in our room at noon no questions asked.

The room was very dirty, and the bathroom was filthy. It felt like no cleaning had been done before letting guests check in. The room smelled terrible, with a strange odor that made me not want to stay even for one second. I went to the front desk to report the issue, but they said the hotel was fully booked and there was no way to change rooms. There was hair on the desk, the toilet was dirty, and even the toilet seat was unclean. They said they could only send someone to clean the room again — which is a terrible excuse, especially for a hotel with hundreds of rooms! Hours later, when I returned to the room, it was clear that no cleaning had been done at all. This kind of careless attitude is truly disappointing. The air conditioner was broken and made a loud noise, making it impossible to sleep. I had no choice but to turn it off. In the Las Vegas heat, staying in a room with no air conditioning was extremely uncomfortable. This is not my first time staying at this hotel — I have always appreciated your hygiene and service. But this time was truly disappointing. I will not be choosing this hotel again.

Absolutely the most ridiculous experience of our life while staying at a hotel. Security staff created a problem, then escalated it to the point of deeming us as trespassing. I tried to bring food back to the pool for my wife, which was purchased at their restaurant. I was denied, and a whole invident occured when the secirity guy there was agressive and would not listen to what I was told about it being ok to bring food and drink into the pool area. He had no desire or ability to tone things down and resolve this issue. He made things worse and turned a simple case of me being frustrated, into a big deal...calling people on the radio, etc.
