Heating was too warm in the eating and casino areas, but fine in sleeping quarters. in Room 2110 came face to face with a person no more than three metres away, walking down a path on the other side of the fence. To have no screen curtains for that room is a breach of privacy - had to shut curtains completely.

Food, fun and a flutter!

Everyone loves a night at the country club. The fine dining restaurant is really good, rooms are neat and clean. Bit of yesteryear charm with the grand staircase in front foyer. Don’t forget a spa/sauna/swim before you check out. Have stayed a few times now and we love it.

Very noisy and dated.

What was great - the Terrace restaurant and staff- fabulous. What wasn’t - place seems to be full of casino and pokie players. It’s like a 90s style resort in need of a big makeover. No atmosphere for guests to sit by a fire anywhere. Rooms have connecting doors that are not sound proof. We asked for a different room and gave us no real help. Then when we had people partying till 3 am next door and the 24 hour reception did not answer our phone calls for assistance. Felt super unsafe. Offered a free breakfast after the event. Would never stay here again.
