Honestly everything was great about the hotel until about Sunday evening when I discovered bumps/bites all over my body. From what I could tell the mattress looked clean but apparently that doesn't mean that there aren't bed bugs. If it wasn't for the bed bug issue I would recommend. Definitely stay at your own risk.

The hotel and its staff were really nice and very helpful. What I didn’t appreciate was that Expedia charged in British pounds rather than US dollars so it came as a surprise to find the rooms were more expensive than I thought.

Unacceptable Room and Poor Management Response

I booked this Super 8 through Hotels.com and was shocked by the condition of the room when I arrived. The bathroom was filthy — no shower curtain, dust and hair in the corners, and debris and staining around the toilet. I never even entered the bedroom after seeing how dirty it was. I immediately went to the front desk, and the clerk agreed the room was unacceptable but said there were no other rooms available. It was late at night, and as a single older traveler, I was forced to search for another hotel at a much higher cost, on top of what I had already paid through Hotels.com. The next day, the manager refused to answer or return Hotels.com’s calls regarding my refund. Thankfully, the front desk clerk, Amanda, was the only helpful person — she contacted regional management and was able to get two of my three nights refunded. However, since I did not stay even one night, I am now forced to dispute the remaining charge through my credit card company. This experience was disappointing from start to finish. The cleanliness was unacceptable, management unresponsive, and I expected far better from a Wyndham-branded property and from Hotels.com’s partner network.

Whole place smelled of garlic, waited almost 15 min to get some one to check me in, water didnt drain from sink, couldnt watch tv as screen was almost black but could hear it, a/c very loud, rug needs a good cleaning. Not ever staying there again

Carpeted part of room floor left soles of my feet black. When I got home I wiped down the soles of my house shoes, same thing - black on cleaning cloth. Safety latch on door wouldnot budge. Toilet seat attachment point was broken on one side. Front desk staff was competent, morning person was way overworked covering multiple jobs. Night person was helpful with identifying a channel number. Parking was great.

When I arrived at 11:30 pm the staff wanted a $250 cash deposit with no notice because my drivers licenece had Lebanon address and "those are the rules". She would not take a debit or credit card for the "deposit" I explained that I did not reside in Lebanon and had very recently moved 800 miles away. After approximately a half an hour discussion with the front desk person explaining that I WILL NOT be handing over $250 in cash she finally checked me into my fully paid for room.

Our room door bolt didn’t work, there was only one chair in the room (2 guests) general lack of fresh air in the hallways, maybe the air system was down. No elevator if your room is on the second floor, you have to haul your luggage up two flights of stairs. Most of the property is in a general state of disrepair. Free parking was appreciated and staff nice but unable to help with the broken bolt.

Overall, a great value for the money!

They had to move me into a different room because the TV kept going off. But at least they were willing to do that! The TV in the second room worked great. I understand they are about to remodel this year (late 2025), and the attendant told me they are also putting in all new equipment (including TVs). Overall, it was very pleasant. A great value for the money. The bed was super comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
