Great location in centre of Lichfield. Warm welcome The room was clean and comfortable. A little noisy . Sounds like the cleaners start early. Loved having a bath. Bed although just a double very comfortable. Lighting was poor and missed not having a lamp.Outside view poor overlooking bins.

Decent town centre hotel, clean room, peaceful night's sleep, friendly reception staff; However, breakfast wasn't that great, shown to a table and then left to fend for myself. Had to ask for coffee, wasn't offered toast or anything, fruit bowl was just juice, and the cooked breakfast was lukewarm. Not one member of staff spoke to me during the 40 mins I was in the restaurant. Never mind, there probably won't be a next time !

We were in Lichfield for a short break the George Hotel is right in the centre of the City the staff were friendly & helpful the hotel is clean and tidy. There is a private car park and I would recommend a stay here.

Great overnight stay at The George Hotel which is centrally located in the city and within walking distance of all the shops and attractions. We love the George and have stayed many times. However the addition of the Bar across the street that now stays open until 2:30am on a Friday and Saturday with loud music doors open and people outside is not good. We were kept awake as a result. The George staff were great we understand they had no control however we will not be returning unless the bar is closed. Great shame.
