Tired old hotel and our reception was tired as well. Threadbare carpets, no sheets or blankets for the pull out couch which is where the ocean view is. Bedroom was on the main road. We were really hoping this would be a gem but more like an old faded doily.

I loved everything about my stay! The room was clean, bed comfortable, microwave, frig, coffee maker, great view, fireplace ( didnt use but would in the fall/winter!) I had everything I needed. Room was already cleaned when I got there too! Super quiet at night!! Listened to the ocean all night with window cracked open🏖 Office staff were wonderful! Would definitely recommend and I will be back for sure! 🌞

ABSOLUTE BEST stay ever! Yes, there's stairs, but in Room #4 you are above the beach with open windows towards the sunset. Massive 2-person (I suppose you could fit 3) tub, color-changing electric flames, and electric fan, should you need one. Barely heard our upstairs or next door neighbors even with windows open. Staff understood we were stuck in traffic, and made sure to accommodate our late arrival. YES, fresh extra towels when we finally arrived! Fluffy nice pillows. No, we didn't bring a dog, but how lovely that there was a basket with sheets that said DOG and a blanket for after the beach.

Stay Away!

Do not stay here. When my daughter and me arrived during a vacation in Oregon for our reserved stay, we quickly realized that the conditions of the accommodations were much less that satisfactory. At the entrance of the room was a large amount of peeling paint likely from water damage over time. This was only one flag tripped before entering the room that maintenance on the hotel is pretty much non existent. The room smelled of stale smoke, was small, dark, dingy, dirty. The window was a small view thru dirty glass and what appeared to be a moldy frame. When we decided we would not spend out last three nights in this place I approached the registrar and was told the room was old and not worth maintaining much. I was told we would receive a full refund and that Hotels.com would need to contact them to initiate that refund. When Hotels.com talked to the hotel (more like a motel) the hotel (motel) said they would only refund 2 of the 3 nights stating that 'policy' for refunding required a 24-hour notice. Let me re-phrase the way I interpret that policy... 'If you have a reservation based on misleading photos on-line and when you arrive to find a disgusting room, then expect to have to eat the cost of a night as you search for alternative places to stay'. All other stays in Oregon were fantastic, I would never bring my family to the Ester Lee. It is poorly run and poorly maintained.

This was a cozy little motel with an amazing ocean view! The walk down to the beach was easy, but climbing the road back up just took a bit out of us. Friendly staff and quiet neighbors. I was a little disappointed at the mold in the bathroom, but for a couple nights, I could deal with it.

Excellent view of a bit of Oregon coast, fishing boats well out to sea, waves crashing at high tide and always at least three windows facing the ocean's show.\ Heavy recommendation for late fall or winter storm watching. Quiet, cozy, fair and competent!

very run down. Stove did not work so could not use the kitchen, kitchen sink was always backing up and smelled.,Lights in bathroom would not come on and when they came on had to leave on 24 hours so we could have lights. . Shower you either got burned or cold shower,room smelled musky,stained carpets. Website lets you pick out your room but when you get there they give you what room they want to assign you to. The room looked nothing like what I picked out on line. Went back and looked at the pictures on rooms on line . They all looked great. Are room was not even close to any pioctures on line. For the amount of money I had to pay Ill spend my money else where next time.

Bed smaller than a queen and uncomfortable. Dirty. Old. Sliding doors on bedroom didn’t close properly and were noisy. No privacy for a seperate bedroom. No dishwasher. Hard beach access. Bathroom in awful condition and no counter. One roll of toilet paper for 4 ppl and front desk doesn’t open till 10 to get more. Couldn’t wait to leave and checked into a better hotel in the area.

we were in a room for pets. It has really nice windows facing the ocean however the briar bushes were so high we did not really have a view.. Also, while unplugging a lamp the light socket flamed and all the lights went out told would come to us first thing in the morning. Finally called at 10:30 to get it fixed we will not stay again.
