Nice to be near the beach, helpful staff, dog friendly. Location of ‘cabin’ - on small parking lot between back door of office & laundry room - not very private, fair amount of laundry traffic, people hanging around etc. Also, in need of upkeep/better cleaning - some things broken: blinds (esp. in bedroom), toaster.

The front desk staff was great, really friendly and informative. However... The room was old and dingy. Stains all over the carpet, musty smell, bathroom tub had mold or mildew around the edges. The view from the room was nice but this motel needs some serious updating.

The people above our room wouldn’t keep their kids from roller blading through the hallway, then after dark, the kids took the roller blades inside amd used them u til well after 2am. We called the front desk but no answer. We even talked to the people above us and they didn’t seem to care about our wishes for a comfortable stay.

Arrived to the hotel around 8 Thursday night to be told that the water heater went out and that they were waiting for the part to arrive and that we would have limited hot water, we didn’t have hot water in our room for the whole 3 nights we stayed. Was told it got fixed Saturday afternoon but we still had no hot water all of that night until 5 in the morning Sunday for about 5 mins and then it went cold again. Was looking to be compensated atleast a night considering I booked the room over a month ago for a birthday trip and wasn’t told about these issues until the night I got there
