The home sits on a peaceful, shallow-water cove where you'll be immersed in the beauty of nature. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, blue herons, turtles, deer, songbirds, ducks, geese, and other wildlife that frequently visit the property.

Enjoy direct lake access from the private floating dock, where several kayaks are available and ready for your next adventure. Take a leisurely paddle around the cove, float in the water, or relax on the large floating mat and inflatable swim dock anchored nearby.

Please note that lake levels vary due to dam operations, and water depth around the dock may fluctuate throughout the year.

The lakefront portion of the property is sloped with uneven terrain, stone steps, and areas without handrails.
Guests should use caution when navigating outdoor spaces.
Parents should closely supervise children both indoors and outdoors.
The main living areas are located on one level and can be accessed with assistance through the front entrance.
A walk-in shower is available in the main-level hall bathroom.
Security & Privacy

For the safety and security of our property, Ring security cameras are located at the front and rear exterior of the home, along with a Ring doorbell camera. These devices are used only for exterior monitoring, noise concerns, and property security.

There are no interior cameras and no cameras in or around the hot tub area.

Lake Information

Lookout Shoals Lake is a quiet and scenic lake located between Lake Hickory and Lake Norman. Please note that there is no boating access between these lakes. Lookout Shoals Lake does not currently have public marinas or boat rental facilities, making it an ideal destination for guests seeking a more peaceful and uncrowded lake experience.
