Not Recommended— EV Charging Only Tesla

I wanted to be ok with this place and trusted the positive reviews for what it is. Unfortunately, this was a bad stay and I wish more people would have said that so I’m writing a review for others. Stayed one night for business. First, I picked this hotel for the EV charging not knowing they are only Tesla chargers. So I then spent most of my evening looking for alternative charging. So be warned. I am comfortable with city and know a Koreatown but I did not feel safe in this block or at the hotel. The street noise and hallway noise is pretty bad even on a Tuesday so bring ear plugs. There was no water and the tub wouldn’t drain—yuck! But then the worst is that when I left to go to my work, I was shocked to find my car was buried behind multiple cars they valet park. The poor guy was doing the best he could but it took time and I was late. Pros: bed was comfy and breakfast was actually pretty good. People really nice. But still will not return.

The breakfast has a good variety of items. The staff serving the breakfast were very helpful and courteous. It is right in the middle of Korean town, so very convenient for getting grocery and have a very good variety of restaurants. It is in L.A. metropolitan area, so the streets are not as clean - which of course isn't the fault of the hotel. But it does affect my initial impression. Also, the hotel has a tired look. I think the room can use a lighter, more cheerful paint and curtains. However, it is clean and the room service staff is great. The front desk staff is very courteous and helpful. Try the coffee machine next to it. The coffee is nice and could safe you a few bucks from buying a Starbucks coffee down the road. Overall, I would stay at the hotel again. I hope the hotel can make the improvement - it is not costly, and it could be done incrementally. It would give a far better first impression.

This place is great for what it is, an average hotel at a good rate in a convenient distance from everything else that matters in LA. We did nothing in the neighborhood. They oversold parking, but had an attendant. Worst part was, while breakfast was "fine" and the staff for breakfast was outstanding, the eggs, meats and potatoes were all made in the microwave!!!

Way beyond expectation!!!

We had a great stay. Location is very strategic… very near Ktown so no problem when you get hungry even in the middle of the night… a lot of stores and restaurants around. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is great!!!
