Room was super cute and the location was great. Valet and front desk service were both professional and friendly. Only complaints are the cracked window, and we thought the bed was a little uncomfortable.

A Retro Gem with Modern Comfort and LA Charm I loved my stay at the Beverly Laurel Motel! The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of LA, within walking distance of The Grove, great restaurants, and everything you’d want to explore in the Fairfax/Mid-Wilshire area. The mid-century vibe gives it that perfect touch of Hollywood nostalgia, while the rooms are clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being so central. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was a huge plus. The attached Swingers Diner makes mornings easy — great coffee, good food, and a laid-back local crowd. Overall, it’s the perfect mix of vintage charm and modern convenience. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, affordable LA stay.

This place is so cute! Definitely adds vibes to your trip and everyone on the property was super friendly - flexible with me being early to check in and letting me hang by the pool a little after check out. Would definitely recommend / book next time I’m in LA.

Chicly dated room vibes. Room is great place to crash for the night not great for much else. The pool is gorgeous and in the right season lovely to hang out. The area is urban feeling with a bit of grit but excellent proximity to delightful shops, food and entertainment. Would visit again and appreciate the value of what we got!

The shopping was good at the grove air conditioner in room was ok staff didnt help at all with luggage getting it all out taxi and into hotel and the same leaving which was disapointing also had to ask for towels all the time

Perfect place to stay at an affordable price for couple nights stay with the family 4. Clean, friendly, nice pool to chill out in, great diner down below when you need a good burger or a drink late at night or desert. Short Uber ride to lots of places of interest. Great farmers market food hall and high street shopping just 8 minute walk away. Highly recommend.

Love the mid century mod restoration of this old motor lodge. Loved my room and the property, it was perfect for my stay. Convenient and moderately priced—for a no-frills hotel this is pretty great. Nice staff too.

Great budget friendly retro and stylish property. The whole staff is exceptional and helpful! I highly recommend using valet parking as street parking is nonexistent and only permitted residents can park on the streets.

Well for one when i got there were cops out front because someone was robbed that was staying there. Then when i went inside the room smelled like wet dog. And then went to lay down and i noticed the sheets and bed cover were dirty and there we hairs in the bed from previous person stayed there.And then i asked to be moved to another room they said that they were all booked up. Then i asked for new bedding they said it would have to wait until the morning. So i had to sleep in my clothes on top of the with a towel.

We're visiting from Chicago and this is THE primo spot to visit and travel back and forth from. It's not too touristy and if you plan to take the metro, the avenues and intersections are easy to navigate and take. There is local food places, grocery stores and chains within walking distances that make staying here feel accessible and comfy. Its a charming, LA hotel that hit all the marks.
