Staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms are quite old with thin walls but they’re very clean. The only available parking is valet and the lot is across the street diagonally.

My friends and I really liked this hotel. It is in the middle of LA, only a 20 minute drive or less from other neighborhoods or tourist spots. The neighborhood itself, Korea town, has lots of great restaurants and shops. The hotel has a great style and the staff was attentive and friendly. The room wasn't fancy but it was what we needed and the beds/bedding were surprisingly comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

I don’t mind that the hotel was 100 years old. The problem was it was dirty. I found a pink press on nail on the floor in my room a dead fly on the bathroom floor. There was no full size mirror or coffee pot. Staff was friendly and the hotel was cute.

Staff at the hotel were really nice and helpful. I asked for an iron and board, staff were more than happy to take it to my room. Hotel is on the old side and I guess thats the vibe that they are going for but me and my wife liked it. If you are looking for something modern and high tech this place isnt for you. The overall experience was pleasant.

Noise issues during weeknights. Despite the staff's efforts to locate the source of the noise, it was never resolved for 2 nights. Noise went on until the am hours of the night. Toilet broke within on 3rd night, staff changed my room but the toilet broke again 3 or 4 nights later. I understand the hotel is old but it really was inconvenient. Staff were great though - very friendly.

Overall, good stay, nice hotel. I just wasn't prepared for the homeless problems in K-town. Not sure that I would stay in this neighborhood again, if I had another alternative.

This was my second time staying at the Normandie - it’s now my go-to when visiting Los Angeles! Clean, comfortable, really helpful staff, all for a great price. It’s located in Koreatown so it’s pretty easy to access most of the city from there, and there are amazing food options around (not just Korean BBQ, which is excellent, but also a great hamburger place attached to the hotel lobby). The hotel is also beautiful with a lot of character and charm. They have a free wine reception in the lobby every evening. Thank you for another fantastic experience!
