La Quinta stay.

Just another stay at just another motel. Room was clean, air conditioner work, bathroom was nice, just nothing particularly special. Considering it was next to the freeway it was actually fairly quiet.

The room was not clean whatsoever. The room had an odd smell, the sheets didn't look clean, and the bathroom was dirty. I arrived at midnight, exhausted after a 7-hour drive and had to cancel the room and request a refund.

The customer service was phenomenal. The breakfast was amazing as well. We had a major inconvenience of a foul odor in our suite and stains on the sofa. We had to move to a smaller room, which was disappointing, but they compensated us for it. The elevator was malfunctioning when we rode it, and the day we left it was out of order. The staff tried to make our experience better which I appreciated.

Property was falling apart. Bathroom was full of grim and dirty. Bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioner was loud and expelled dirty air. I had booked and paid for a two night stay and checked out after one night. I just could not take another night. I asked for a refund and was told they could not give me one. I shared pictures of the room to reception and they did not offer any response or even asked initially why I was checking out early.
