I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Manhattan Beach! The location is perfect — just a short walk to the ocean, shops, and great restaurants. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made my stay even better. Such a calm and beautiful area — I’d definitely stay here again!

Room was clean and nice but they skimp as much as possible amenities. One tiny sample of each and one towel each. One pillow each. AC unit had a hole for a button but still worked surprisingly. Water barely comes out a trickle from the shower head. Couldn’t even get sand off from the beach. Hotel staff is unfriendly and petty. We arrived 24 minutes early and they wouldn’t let us check in without a fee. Additionally, was tired and didn’t realize the bell cart had to be returned to the front desk. I nicely asked the staff member if she could take it since I wasn’t dressed and she blatantly refused. Meanwhile she was headed in that direction and it was about 100 steps away.

The breakfast was kinda poor, with mostly cereal and waffles included. There are no eggs or omelet. The coffee and juice were ok 👍 Large parking space. Don't go to los Angeles without renting a car. Its impossible to get around the city without one.

Loved how close to the beach this property is, a lot of essential establishments around. My only two complaints were, door to the bathroom was too swollen with the humidity and wouldn’t fully close and my room was directly in from to the laundry so it was loud, but i would recommend to stay!

Best stay so far for budget friendly hotel in LAX area. Nice flooring, bathroom, bedding,decor. Nothing fancy but tasteful and clean. Like that I can turn on bathroom light without having a loud vent on at same time. Like that the flooring doesn’t look like the cheapest thing they had out a flooring outlet. Like that the bathroom is tiled and that the towels don’t look 100 years old. Didn’t use the pool or sauna but they looked inviting. Love the covered parking. Appreciated fresh fruit at breakfast and option for make your own waffles. My only complaint would be low water pressure in the shower. But I will definitely be returning.

We’ve stayed here a few times over the years, and it seems the quality and care has gone down. This time the room we were given had roaches so we were given another that was fine. Very stuffy rooms, can’t get it ventilated well. Nice staff but unfortunate breakfast.
