I love that Best Western serves breakfast. A full breakfast, not just juice and toast. There is always protein, usually eggs and sausage, plus all the standard breakfast options (pancakes, cereal, yogurt, fruit). There is comfy space in which to eat. A real bonus! Saves having to spend time finding a place, getting there and paying for it. Thanks Best Western!

We stayed three nights at this Best Western in Merced, CA. We had an u[stairs corner room that was quite roomy with separate sink and shower/toilet rooms. It was equipped with a Keurig coffee machine, a nice refrigerator/ freezer combo. Also a microwave, which could not be plugged in - no electric outlet available. The bed was comfortable, and there was cable TV - although we could not find our favorite news - FOX News.

It was just right for the work we were doing. Plus when the parking lot was almost full with Contractor's trucks, just like us we knew it was a good choice. Breakfast hit the spot. We Will be back if more work comes our way.

Except the friendly staff and service, everything about the hotel was below expectations. The hotel is right next to a highway and has old zero sound insulated windows. We could hear every single vehicle on the highway. Except for about 2 hours in the middle of the night. The bathtub collected water as we showered. The 1st floor room floor creaked. The towels were possibly very old after years of washing again. The overall quality of the room was way too low. The breakfast was ok but for some reason did not like it. The car parking was super crammed. On top of that a group of construction crew were staying for the season. Their huge trucks occupied more than the parking spaces available.
