We arrive late on October 10. We’re anxious to get a good nights rest however our room was so filled with smoke odor that we had to leave the door open all night to get any fresh air.! we could not stay a second night and rented a room at the Claridon Road around 15 miles away from Ellijay. We were overcharged from the original quotation and have emailed a request for a refund and also a refund on the two nights that we did not stay.

The bathroom was not clean—random hairs around toilet, on the floor. The bathroom door and walls were sticky. Beds were fine, a little tired, but at least clean

This is the worst dump I have ever stayed in. I was unexpectedly horrified by the check in experience and the room. Checking in there was no welcome, there was a hard plastic barrier and when the "person" came and he said all he needed was for me to sign the credit card form which he slid under a tiny slot at the bottom of the barrier, and then gave me the key. You'd think we were in a high crime area but not at all, this is a small farm and orchard town in the north Georgia Mountains! Then the room. An age of filth baked in. No drain stoppers in sink or tub. Dirt all over the light switches, no overhead lights, old tv with a remote that didnt change channels. The onside of the door was unbelievably filthy. I wouldn't put my belongings on the floor, I'm glad I brought my slippers because I'd never put my feet on the floors. The bathroom was about 4 X 5 if that, toilet and tub in there. The bed was miserable, the pillows thin flat boards. I was stuck because I was there for a 2 night wedding event. Everything else was sold out because of apple and pumpkin fall festivals. The first morning after terrible sleep I realized I'd have to leave and forfeit the 2nd night I'd already paid for. So I left in disgust. Not a chance I'd stay. GROSS EXPERIENCE I've had difficulty reaching hotels.com because they should remove this property ftim their site, it is far below their reputation. I need a direct way to contact them.

The hotel is older. We stayed on the back side and the rooms smell a little moldy, but they were clean. There is not a lot of pressure in the shower. The bathroom is super small. The bed was comfy. Overall nice place for the money.

The bathroom was very dirty and had pubic hair in the tub and on the floor. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it. The beds were hard. The room stunk. The pool was closed off. The host was not helpful. I wouldn’t stay there again and will spread the word about this place.

I liked being about to check in a little sooner due to bad weather and I needed to prop my foot due to my ankle being broken. I didn't like that I had reserved king bed room and got 2 double beds.

Generally dirty. The front door sweep had been chewed through by rodents (?). Crust on bathroom floor tile. Toilet leak? Some type of scented cleaner concealing God only knows what odor. Had to walk around entire building to access pool as access through lobby was closed and nearly uninhabitable from cleaner smell.. Leering Indian guy in housekeeping next door to our room. Would not accomodate 2 hour early check in although entire property was empty. Big spot on carpet immediately inside door.

This stay was example of “ you get what you pay for.” Easy and friendly check in. Property looks great and well maintained from a distance. Beautiful flowers, fountain, and koi pond. Pool looked well maintained and other guests were enjoying it. Our original room smelled so strong— a mix of mold, dust, and super strong cleaning chemicals. We tried to air it out, but the windows had no screens and my attempt to open a super dirty window resulted in a pinched finger. We went to dinner and decided to ask for a room change when we came back. No problem to change, and the new room only smelled of cleaner, so we settled in. Lots of noise from other guests, but it was Saturday night, so we dealt with it. Shower was stained and broken down, so we slept and checked out as early as possible. That said, it was a third of the price of my usual Marriott brand in the same town.
