For the price paid, I expected a little more. Our bed was not flat/leveled. We slept with our heads down, and feet up, which made it hard to sleep. No mini fridge, however they did deliver one when we called to ask if available which we appreciated, it is nice to have for your leftover food, and to just have cold water throughout your stay. They have an iron, but I couldn’t find the ironing board until I called desk, they said it’s under the bed, what a strange place to put a board to have to get on your hands and knees to get it. Silly. It was not a bad stay, but with the price you pay, you could have some small room upgrades and also make sure your bed is leveled so your guests aren’t sleeping with their feet up, head down and blood rushing to head all night. Overall clean, no musty smells, breakfast until 9:30, and friendly staff that helps with luggage etc. plan to have your luggage sit in a hallway though if you are dropping off before checking in…. I thought our stuff would be put into a luggage room but it is instead just left in the hallway wide open room of lobby, where realistically anybody could grab your stuff. Nobody checked our ticket bags to make sure they’re ours.

Great place to stay.

A lovely place to stay and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the area. Lobby has afternoon snack. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate all day. Would stay there again. Convenient to walking to town. Right next to St Ann’s church on the map.

The hotel is about a 1/3 mile walk from the dock so I did not take advantage of the luggage transfer service. Check-in was easy. The room was on the second floor with a garden view. Pretty with a small porch with two chairs. Room was comfortable. Only downsides were a lack of water pressure for the shower (not horrible, but noticeable) and not a lot of places to set down stuff like keys, cell phones, etc. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend.

Loved this place! The lake was visible from the 3rd floor balcony. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. The grounds were beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of dietary choices while homemade bread and muffins stole the day! Wish we could have stayed longer.

We could not have picked a better location on the island. It’s just far enough away from downtown to miss the congestion but just a short walk to restaurants. We will definitely be visiting again.
