This is a cabin on a parking lot on top of other cabins in a parking lot. If you are looking for a “nature” experience - this isn’t it. Staff was rude and unkempt.

Great little lodge to stay at. Only stayed one night before going to mackinaw Island and then on to the UP but definitely would stay again if in the area.

We loved our stay at the Cabins. Our room was so unique. It really put our trip to Mackinac over the top. If we return, and hope we will, we will stay at the cabins again. Thank you!!

The room was clean however the refrigerator did not work and I called and they said they would send someone no one came so I called back. They brought us another one but left the old one. We also had ants that they said someone would come but never did. The biggest problem was the desk clerk was extremely rude and yelled at me than finally said go get her some fudge so this problem will go away than walked in other room and closed door while I was still talking to him. Tryed to speak to manager but he said it was expedias responsibility they tryed to get a supervisor and we’re hung up and told they would not do anything about it. So very wrong to be treated this way at Cabins of Mackinac

We rented 2 cabins- one of them smelled terrible and was very damp and humid. It smelled like urine and cleaner. The carpet felt damp when you walked in it and if you hung up something wet it was so humid inside nothing would dry. The other room was fine humidity wise but both rooms very rundown

Cabin was dirty, sheets had sand on them, towel had old gum, pillow had mold, tvs didn't work, floors were dirty, shower fan had layers of dirt and didn't work, ac didn't work properly. Porch light was burned out and maintenance never replaced it per request. Windows had no screens to open for fresh air since the ac didn't work. TV had large extension cord across the entrance door as a trip hazard.

Beautiful convenient setting. Beach and downtown you can walk to. The carpet was dirty in the corners as well as the shower floor and window sills. Our particular cabin was nearest the neighboring trash trucks lot. The first morning we thought they were demoing our cabin, but we got use to the morning wakeup noise.

This was flight , had no remote for tv. The carpet was dirty. The room smelled like wet and mold. Flies were in the room, no light in the shower, I don’t think it’s been cleaned in a long time. Will never stop here again.

Our stay was terrible. The cabin was not anything at all like the photos. There were no towels, no toilet paper, the door and heater had large gaps open to the outside, there were ants in at last one bedroom, there seemed to be black mold in the bathroom. Be aware that poisen ivy is growing around the cabins and many are open underneath with trash (broken lightbulbs). Maintenance was great in coming to fix our broken light bulb, non functioning heater (it was in the 40s over night) and clogged toilet.
