Mini road trip

Booked a room for an overnight mini road trip to see a concert at the fair. Close to shopping, groceries and various fast food. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and cool. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast seemed fresh and a variety of foods available (though it didn’t have much allergy friendly options). Spa (jacuzzi) and pool were refreshing. Would stay again if in the area.

Clean covers!

Rooms felt clean, but sadly having worked in the service business before, we've learned that the top bed cover rarely gets laundered, so we bring our own clean sheets to cover the beds before we will even sit on them, so regularly cleaning the top cover on the beds, and even a notice stating the same would be reassuring!

Check in took a long time. Once I got to the room there was dry blood on the toilet seat, crumbs in one of the beds, you have to have the ac on the whole night or the rotten dead smell would be heightened, and you can smell the dent of drugs from 2 doors down. There are so many good reviews on this place but in reality it’s a horrible hotel. Do not stay here!

Killed 4 spiders in the room over 2 days. Left a watch in the room. Realized 5 minutes after checking out and staff wouldn't let us back in to retrieve it. When we were finally let in after multiple phone calls the watch was gone after housekeeping had "looked" for the watch. Won't be returning here.
