I hate to leave bad reviews but there is nothing good to say about the Broadmore. We left after an hour. Beds were dirty, toilet was blocked, elevator was so slow, everywhere smelt, the guy on the desk was rude, DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! Actually just don't book at all.

Tye checkin was amazing. The gentleman checking us in was extremely friendly!! The hotel itself i decent for the price. On the beach with easy beach access. The hotel provides towels and beach loungers.

Beware, do not book!

Absolutely disgusting! There was mold in my mattress. Black mold! The water was orange. The hotel pool was filthy. The whole place smelled like urine, mold and weed. It was awful! Nothing was done. No refund. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and they charged a $20 fee a day for resort fees. It is so far from a resort it’s not funny. Beware!

This property desperately needs to be renovated and updated. In need of a complete makeover. The bed in our room felt like sleeping on a hard, stiff board. My body ached every morning. The only linen was a sheet. The room was cold with no way to adjiat the ac unit. There was a night I requested additional blankets and was told one would be brought up instead of giving it to me while I was standing at the front desk, which I had to do as there is no telephone in the room. Thank goodness we were on the second floor and could walk upstairs because the elevator is so slow and only two people can ride. The towels and wash cloths were rough and very thin. Feels like I stepped back into the 60s or 70s.

First off, please make sure you check about any construction and maintenance going on. it was so disruptive and took away from every aspect we were excited about when it came to staying at this hotel. secondly, the staff is incredibly rude. thirdly, there wasn’t hot water for over 24 hours and the staff had ZERO regard for fixing it. fourth, claims to be a smoke free property yet REAKS of cigarettes.

Falsely advertised as a decent place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you enjoy sleeping with cockroaches, showering in cold water that doesn’t drain, and smelling cigarette smoke everywhere you go. Didn’t mind the brown water that first came out of the tub initially that went away or the construction, but $400 for no hot water and roaches is absurd. I ended up switching hotels last minute to a place similarly priced and close to the beach that was amazing.

At 6 months pregnant with twins, I booked this hotel for the convenience of being able to walk straight out to the beach. Unfortunately, ongoing construction made the walk longer but not unbearable. Biggest complaint is the slow… SLOW elevator. Our room was on the 4th floor and I ended up having to take the stairs way more than I should have being 6 months pregnant. Plus our room was not as expected… manageable but missing some of the amenities mentioned on the site such as hairdryer, safe, etc. housekeeping didn’t come at all on our 5 night stay, and there were exposed wires in the light cords. Won’t stay again. :(

The only thing I can say that I liked about this property was the bed. We were moved twice between 3 rooms. First room had hair in the shower, the second rooms power went out the next morning as we were getting ready, the third room one of the outlets went out as well the second day we were there. Two out of 4 staff members we interacted with had great customer service and two that were rude and did not even address our concerns with the power outage or the hair covered in the shower. The paint is peeling in each of the rooms showers we were in. There is no on site parking and you have to pay to park in the lot behind the library from 8a-11pm. Just make sure you don’t forget to pay or it’s a $36 fine. I made that mistake our last night. I forgot to pay for the last 90 min of the night. The property is close to food and shopping options. We did not use any of the amenities our $20 nightly resort fee included. We were asked what type of refund we can get for the inconvenience of all the issues we had and were mostly dismissed by the staff. As I paid through Expedia they could only offer a refund from the resort fee, at this time I have not seen a refund was provided to me, nor have I been contacted by the property. I was at the point of booking a whole new room at a different property but due to how parking is in Miami Beach we sucked it up and stayed the duration of our stay. We were in the room at a minimum to avoid any irritation of the poor condition of the rooms.
