Dirty and hotel room door didnt lock, tv, phone, outlets didn’t work, it smelled like mold, no hot water! I had a better stay in Honduras than the night I had here! Shuttle never showed up after 3 hours of waiting at the airport and of course no one answered the phone

The pictures online do not match the reality of the hotel. It was very rundown had a bad odor. My room was dirty and my sheets were soiled. I asked for a different room and they were able to accommodate that but it took over half an hour and all I wanted to do is go to bed. I tried to cancel the reservation, but they wouldn’t let me

Two weeks at La Quinta

The most memorable aspect of our stay was a fire at the hotel. It occurred around 200am. Several fire trucks were in attendance as well as the police. The fire was brought under control quickly, and we were able to go back to sleep after approximately two hours. I think the hotel has done its time and is in need of major renovation and upgrades. This may affect the cost of accommodation but based on the proximity to the airport and the traffic going through it will not be necessary to price themselves out of the niche they presently occupy.
