Clean, comfortable hotel. Staff were very courteous and kind. My check-in experience was wonderful. Hottub and pool area being ready at all times was great! Primarily in the winters (and always), it is nice to have a quality and accessible pool area. Sauna very nice as well

The room at check-in was 85+ degrees could not turn it down turned on air that worked for one hour and quit had to open window when it was 10 degrees out the beds were rock hard but not as bad as the bricks for pillows will never stay there again

This is definitely not senior friendly as you had to climb half a flight of stairs to get anywhere, even from the parking lot to the lobby. The parking lot was glare ice. There was no cold drinking water available at breakfast. On the upside, young people and kids would probably like it.

Great price. I checked in late after my job, room was clean, looked like a decent sized pool I might try to use next time. I saw maintenance upgrading some rooms in the hallway after checkout hours. There was breakfast with choices of cereals, muffins, eggs, biscuits, and a waffle maker, probably some other stuff. The manager Shannon was very codial, greeted me and he had an active interest in conversation. Maybe next time a job takes me out that way, I'll review about the pool.

Generally the room, staff, cleanliness were OK. However, upon arriving in the breakfast area - there was NO hot food left and no refills offered. I was able to make a waffle, but no syrup. Coffee was available. I am diabetic so it is utmost that I have something to eat when I take my insulin or I could be in danger of low blood sugar. Having continental breakfast option in a hotel is the primary reason I book a place that offers breakfast. I had to go out of the building to purchase breakfast.

During my recent stay, I was surprised to learn of a $40 per night pet fee that was never explained at check-in and does not match what is shown online. This is the highest pet fee I’ve encountered in Minot, and the property is not a five-star hotel to justify such a charge. Had this been disclosed upfront, I would have cancelled and chosen a more affordable option. Transparency on fees is essential. The breakfast offerings were limited—no fruit, no sugar-free options, and overall very average. On the positive side, the pool was open, the beds were comfortable, and housekeeping actually cleaned our room, which is rare these days. However, there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign available, which is a basic amenity. The ongoing remodeling left a noticeable carpet glue smell, which detracted from the experience. Overall, while the stay was acceptable, the pet fee was excessive and misleading, especially since my dog was never left alone in the room. Clearer communication of charges would prevent frustration for returning guests like myself, who visit Minot multiple times a year and have never faced such costs elsewhere.

The two female front desk ladies were friendly and accommodating and the pool/hot tub/sauna was a highlight. It would have been nice to have notice of renovations occurring in the hotel as we never knew what stairs would be open for guest use. Our room was ok. Odd smell, fridge worked initially then quit at some point over night and food was warm by morning. Found a couple long black hairs in the bedding which did not belong to us. The room door also did not close all the way on its own, requiring a firm closing to ensure it was shut.
