My favorite hotel

I always stay here when I am in Moab. I have for years. It is under new management The guy at the front desk was very helpful and extremely friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. No complaints. Still my favorite place in Moab, very reasonable prices

served our needs perfectly

We were spring break-travelling and wanted a place near Arches National Park. For the price, this place provided a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The property is older but has been updated. It's located right downtown Moab, which is wonderful. Cant beat this place for the great rate

Great overall hotel in Moab!

Wonderful experience staying at the Virginian hotel in Moab. Great value for the money. Huge room, very clean, excellent bed. My only issue - and the reason I am not giving 5 stars - the was with the structural quality. Every step, however light, was coming through the ceiling so loud and would vibrate my room. Thus caused major disruption to my sleep.

I reserved a room at 1 hotel for 2 nights. Was switched to another hotel because something was wrong with a window. Was sent to a place that had a restaurant attched to it and the back door was at my front door. Went to the original place the second night. Our room was at the base of metal stairs, you can hear every move from the people up above us and when ever someone came in to the parking lot the car light went right into the window. And this morning i realized we had no towels. The employee was helpful as much as he could be. Not going to try again there.

This is our favorite hotel in Moab and we stay here every time we visit. It's not the fanciest but it is clean and has all the amenities. If you need more, just ask the front desk. It is right across from the Moab Diner-our favorite place to eat in Moab. Very budget friendly and fantastic malts! The hotel is on a dead-end street which means low traffic. If you know Moab, the tourist season traffic can be horrific! The Virginian also backs the river which includes a river walking path. The Staff are friendly and a joy to visit with. You can easily walk to downtown shopping. Enjoyed a really great experience!

Great location downtown half a block from the main drag, but backed against a park so it was nice and quiet. Clean room but next bathroom upgrade, install some grab bars, folks. Not everyone is 25.

Decor and room were cozy and clean but there was a big crack in the ceiling above the shower that was consistently leaking water and plaster. When we realized it, no one was around at the front desk to even discuss it with.
