Torresassa, Montaione, Florence and Chianti
Immersed among lush green trees on the hillside, and featuring a trio of expansive terraces, Torresassa is a grand getaway. The pool is encircled by sunloungers, plant-life and great views across the valley. You can easily walk to the local village of Iano, whilst the superb walled mountain town of Volterra is just over half an hour away in the car.
The level of class on display is truly astounding. The exterior resembles a countryside castle, but the interior has a plush opulence about it, with styles bordering on the aristocratic. The antique furniture lends a historic lived-in atmosphere, but it’s also very comfortable. Aesthetically and practically, Torresassa is a winner on all levels.
