I am writing to formally request a refund and resolution regarding my stay at your property during the recent hurricane. My experience was significantly impacted by poor communication and unclear emergency procedures. During the lockdown, guests were given no meeting points or guidance, leaving us completely unaware of the hotel’s emergency protocol. This created confusion and added unnecessary stress during an already difficult situation. We were informed the hotel was on lockdown, yet the buffet remained open, which was contradictory to the instructions provided. Additionally, I did not receive the bag of food that was supposed to be distributed to guests. The only time communication from the hotel was clear was when we were told that additional nights would need to be paid for, which felt unfair considering the circumstances and lack of support. As of today, I still have not received my refund, despite being told it would be processed. I have a printed copy of my receipt and can provide it upon request. I respectfully ask that you review my case and issue the refund owed to me as soon as possible. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution

Poor Communication and Mishandling of Accommodation issue. I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your resort. Unfortunately, several issues during my stay and at the time of departure left me feeling frustrated and unsafe. On two separate occasions, I informed the front desk that my flight had been delayed and inquired about extending my stay. Each time, I was quoted a rate of $379 per night, which was far higher than expected and unaffordable at the time. Based on that information, I made the difficult decision to leave the resort. However, after I had already departed, I was informed that the rate had suddenly been changed to $89 per night. Had this information been provided earlier, I would have remained at the resort instead of leaving under stressful circumstances. To make matters worse, when I attempted to return—after realizing the resort I moved to was unsafe—the head of security denied me re-entry, leaving me scrambling to find shelter. This was an extremely distressing situation that could have been easily avoided with clearer communication and more compassionate handling from your staff. I am requesting that management review this situation carefully. I believe the way the matter was handled demonstrates a significant lack of communication and guest care, which is not what one would expect from a resort of your reputation. I would appreciate an explanation and any possible goodwill gesture to address the distress this

Was there during hurricane Melissa they did not treat us well mentally WiFi & tv was gone water was accessible two times per day 7am to 8am & 5pm to 7pm witch was cold so cold showers you couldn’t flush toilet witch led to a stinky smelling resort also the ac went out the staff hid our liquor away from us mean while riu palace & Montego Bay had WiFi liquor & live dj atleast being their for their guests mentally basically all we had at reggae was food & a room no pool or beach access
