A lovely old property with many many steps & no elevator. Sent on my way without giving me info that I needed bell hop. Knew nothing about local wine options. Not tuned in to customer needs. Great location. Well kept facility.

Property in need of major updates and maintenance. We had to hear constant maintenance sounds of hammering, trucks etc with no transparency that it would be taking place during our stay or concessions to acknowledge how much it detracted from our experience. Front desk staff appeared miserable and exhausted.

Lovely Hotel

Love the hotel. Didn't like the room. It was at the end of a hallway so thought it would be quiet. Unfortunately the maid's closet was also there so when we came back to rest in the late afternoon there was a lot of activity out there, including the use of walkie talkies which was annoying. We would definitely stay here again, but in a different room. It is noisy outside in the early morning as garbage is collected daily in the area due to the number of restaurants. This historical hotel is beautiful inside. No elevator so if you are on the third floor, it's a bit of a hike.

The Pine Inn has a great location and historic charm, but unfortunately, our check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk staff was cold and dismissive, which left a poor first impression. While the issue was later addressed and we appreciated the follow-up, that initial interaction impacted our overall stay. A warmer, more welcoming approach would have made a big difference.

Overall very outdated building with outdated room interior, dead bug on the carpet floor, strange smell although not too strong, and the floor of my room is connected to the stairs, so whenever people walks up the stairs there was a very loud noise in the room.

The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade…very old & run down. The staff at the reception are rude & not accommodating at all. Seems like the hotel management has changed. It was our anniversary trip & we asked for a quiet room. They gave us the room above where all the deliveries are done 4:00 AM…hence a lot of noise…and then when we told them about it the new person at reception said that it’s one of their worst rooms.

The place has multiple levels but no elevator, necessitating a steep climb to our room dragging our luggage(we're 80). Parking was a block away and also very inconvenient. The bed in the room was pushed into one of the corners, and for the inside sleeper to get in and out, the outside person had to get up and let them out. Also, there was no table in the room which made having any thing to eat in the room difficult.

Very old building, yet nice and clean. Very comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast restaurant! The staff in the Pine Inn were not friendly and we had to go in the back door to get to rooms. No elevator or help with luggage. The wait staff at the restaurant and the food was excellent!

The front desk check in process was terrible. Our reservation was lost and Jason at the front desk was combative, insulting and stated "you don't have to stay here". This was our anniversary weekend and my daughters birthday. We had reserved 2 rooms. I have never been so upset and wished that someone could be fired as much as I wish Jason could be as a result of his unprofessional behavior! It has taken me this long to get over the experience to write this review. Prior to this experience we always stayed at the Pine Inn.
