My sister and I were greeted by a polite and well-spoken desk clerk upon check in. He was helpful when I had problems closing the window curtains and operating the wall thermostat (I never did figure it out). I also didn't like that I needed to request housekeeping for each day of my stay. The office was supposed to be staffed 24 hours a day, but they failed to answer the phone or front door at times. Overall, considering the daily rate, I might be persuaded to stay again in the future.

Clean, well-located, pleasant, no frills

Great location. It's just a short pleasant walk down to many restaurants, coffee shops, Trader Joe's, and a pub. There are probably more pubs/bars, but I wasnt looking for those during this trip. You have to press hard on the soap dispensers to get the soap I put. I like that they use use instead of the bar soaps which I always feel so wasteful using a few times and then disposing. The extra lock at the top of the door felt flimsy which I didn't like. Great location, pleasant staff, no breakfast but free coffee/tea. No frills, no lotions or other extraneous stuff. You have to turn the fridge on to get it to work which is different but pretty energy-saving. The beds were comfortable. I liked that they provided 2 luggage rack things instead of the usual one.

Good stay for business

We had booked 40 nights here for 8 people. Well worth it. The rooms were clean and service was speedy and easy. A little noisy outside but it didn't bother me much. Two gas stations next door is super convenient!

Property is in a good location close to restaurants and bars. The owner was very engaging and helpful. There is nothing fancy about this hotel buy it checks all the boxes especially considering the price.
