Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room although a little dated was very soacious and comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was really tasty with a mix of continental and cooked. I would stay here again.

A rare find in the heart of Monterey

Great Walkable Hotel

This was our first time at the Victorian, a few friends of ours have stayed here before and recommended it to us. We had such a great time here - quiet property, but very walkable area. The complimentary wine and cheese nights and the breakfasts were easily the best part of the stay, though the rooms were also spacious and comfortable. We will be coming back!

This was a lovely, small hotel! The staff was extrememy kind and responsive. The rooms were large and clean. It was a short walk to everything in downtown Monterey. They have a great breakfast included and a wine and cheese hour! Parking is super easy. Definitely recommend!

Very walkable location - 1 block from cannery row. Has self park area that cost about $20/day. The breakfast was nice - there were muffins, cereal, scrambled egg, sausage, self make waffles, toast, bagels. More than what i thought since it said continental breakfast. Rooms are clean & our room had 2 sink areas which is convenient. Though i had thought the hotel was a victorian inn given the name- that part is the reception & lobby area. The actual room we stayed in is the building next to it. The property is all connected by walkways. There are elevators in the buildings. Nice place. Clean.

Loved the fireplace in our room and the vaulted ceiling, we enjoyed the cheese and wine reception in the evening. Friendly staff. Very clean. No odd smells. Quiet. I would definitely go back.
