I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. The staff was excellent. The room was nice. I appreciated the staff giving me a room on the 1st floor. I didn't like the fact, that there was a (refundable) deposit of $50. It's not mentioned anywhere. This should have been more transparent. I wouldn't have chosen this location, had I known in advance. Although the room was nice, it could have been cleaned better. Especially the bathroom. There was blood all around the bottom of the toilet. I didn't notice it until I was taking a bath. I would have taken pictures, but it was disgusting. I ended up cleaning it myself. Everything else was nice.

First of all I booked the wrong hotel. I meant to book the days in on Troy Highway but the guy at the desk has showed me that his hotel is better than Troy Highway cause they have roaches in Troy Highway and the place was just disgusting the towels the face cloth were dirty. The paint was all chipped in the tub. There was black mold on the grout. There was some kind of beetle roach bug. We killed three of them within the first five minutes of getting into the hotel and if I had somewhere else to go, I definitely would’ve went somewhere that should be like a one star hotel not a two star hotel but it’s my fault for booking the wrong hotel. I usually stay at Wingate at Wyndham Because they’re always spot on, but they were fully booked so I had no choice thank God it was only for one night. I’m lucky if I got five hours sleep the worst experience of my life and I travel a lot.
