Best Western Newport, TN. Are nice people and have a nice property. Called Expedia 9 days before my stay to cancel as my wife has cancer. I had insurance and the rep. From overseas refused to help me. My trust is broken

I've never been to a facility like this where the ENTIRE STAFF was as welcoming and friendly as the people here. I'm including desk, housekeeping, food and outdoor maintenance.

This property boosted on a billboard that it was new. I don’t usually stay at best Western but if it’s new, I thought it can’t be that bad. At some point the new wears off in the billboard needs to be taken down because the hotel was just adequate. it was clean inside however the TV didn’t work on and off and the phone did not work at all, so if there was emergency in the middle of the night, me being a woman by myself and I need help that was a no go. Thank God I had my cell phone to call the woman and ask for help with the TV. And then the ice was around the other side of the building and I was a woman alone I had to get in my car with my pajamas on to go find ice. So I would give it just an adequate experience. Didn’t even bother with the breakfast the next morning because I wasn’t gonna waste my time. The woman at night who checked me in was very Kurt. The woman who checked me out in the morning was lovely

Been here before and they are always amazing. They remembered me after years, and even took good care of us and my service dog. Hot breakfast, clean pool and laundry room. Love them, stay there whenever possible!!

Overall good stay, bed was comfy and breakfast good. Staff very friendly. Wish more attention to detail in terms of cleanliness was taken, lots of dirty areas on walls (splashes of liquid?) and doors (hand prints etc) that made the room feel dirtier than it was.
