We arrived about an hour afyer check-in time and no one was in the offuce or answering the courtesy phone, while this was a bit annoying it was because they were busy doing laundry for the hotel. It wasn't very long (probably 20 minutes total) before we were checked in and went to our "cabin" which was spacious but not as fepucted on hotels.com. i have stayed here before and absolutely will again next time we're in the area, but this visit did have a couple wrinkles. The beds are HUGE. The rooms (we had a king room with view) well appointed and comfortable. The view is absolutely incredible, a serene vista of the sound and ferry terminal. There are not many dining options without trekking back into town (RIP Secret Cove) but once there you are spoiled for choice. The ferry terminal is less than a 5 minute drive away so you could definitely use Ship.Harbor as a staging ground for a jaunt around the islands, like we did. 9/10 will come back.

Enjoyed the weekend getaway. Booked room through hotels.com and realized there was a concern with my reservation. Called toward the end of the evening and received nothing but amazing service! All interactions with staff were awesome. Room view was soothing. Beds were a bit stiff and noisy but tolerable. Only issue I had was the shower head. Wasnt able to take a shower due to the fact I was too tall (I'm 5'7). The showerhead pointed right at my chest and even lifting to the highest point, I wasnt able to wash my hair without doing some unthinkable positions. Overall... would stay again.

The view from your window is the real gem of this place. The lobby area is super cozy, the beds were super comfortable, and the patio had a great view. We had a 2 bed room and our beds were so very comfy. However, other family members had king beds and their mattresses were very hard. The rooms could use some renovating since they seem old. Also, the breakfast options were lacking. No gluten free stuff.

Unfortunately, my second separate 3 day stay within a week was once again marred by the room not cleaned properly. This time a dirty towel was left hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom. The two hide-a-bed chairs again had debris left from previous guests, seemingly numerous. Crumbs and food wrappers were under the chair cushions and one of them actually had a dog biscuit under it! Unacceptable! I told the housekeeper who seemed to push the blame off onto a different housekeeper, and asked her to clean the room. She said she would, but when we returned to our room again that night, it was still unclean. I complained to the front desk and the next day it was finally cleaned. I really enjoyed this property even though the furnishings are old, but it has a beautiful view and is convenient to my reason for visiting the area. However, the lack of cleanliness on my last two stayd makes me reluctant to stay there again.

Beautiful property, they recently upgraded so you get a very good value. Breakfast options were very poor. The staff is not the most helpful, we complained about uncleaned bathroom, while they apologized they did not send anyone to clean even the next day. It is close to the ferry but not walkable to any restaurant - only 5/6 mins away though.

Great location and view. Lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the ferries coming in. Saw a grazing and a few birds.Nice breakfast and breakfast room. Unfortunately, not thoroughly cleaned. Dirty drawers and cupboards. I had to do a clean before I could use the kitchen.in all my years of traveling, I've only had to do a clean of the kitchen once before.so no, I didn't leave a tip in the envelope provided.
