I loved the area and the layout of our unit. We traveled with a toddler, and it was nice to be able to put her in the bedroom and not go to bed at the same time. The unit was dirty. We got there and she took her shoes off, a few minutes later the bottom of her feet were black.

I'm not use to not having to check in with a person. It was easy, hassle-free. Liked that lockers were part of the amenities. The only draw back was no regular television service. You have to download and pay. I shouldn't have to pay extra, it should be included with the rental.

The unit they put us in had a broken window that didn't close with no screen on it bugs were coming in they also charged us $20 a night for parking that we didn't need and we checked out a day early and they kept the money for the other night we didn't stay

Great place to stay. Especially for extended stays. The electronic lock for the lobby needs to be replaced and some needs to vacuum the pool. But all and all. 4.8 out of 5.

When you do get to contact the office staff, they are extremely helpful! Parking can truly be a challenge! Other than the fact that not having the ability to make reservations in person instead through 3rd party, makes it VERY frustrating!

The area has nice options for eating. But is a little noisy depending which unit you stay in. We had a dumpster right next to our balcony outdoor space. Pool and fitness center are small but nice. Extra coffee and other items available

Beware of Sonder

My stay with Sonder was by far the worst experience I’ve had in over 50 years of traveling. Although I booked through Hotels.com, everything depended on Sonder’s interface—which simply didn’t work. I spent 1–2 hours on the phone just trying to get room access and parking information. The access details they emailed linked back to their app, but the information wasn’t there. There’s no on-site support; instead, you’re directed to call a number staffed by offshore agents with limited English proficiency. Every time I left the condo, I encountered other guests struggling to get into their units for the same reason—Sonder never provided them the proper access instructions. To make matters worse, my condo was directly across the street from a bar that blasted live music from 5 PM to 10 PM every night, shaking the unit. Sonder’s only solution was to offer earplugs. To be fair, the condo itself was clean, well-stocked, and as described. But the overall experience was chaotic and unacceptable. Sonder is poorly run and completely incompetent. I do not recommend staying with Sonder or at Village 21.

Lively area of Nashville and easy to get to places by car. The apartment space was spacious, clean, with a full kitchen, large bathroom, and even a balcony. Feels like an apartment and not a hotel. It can get loud outside at night, so bring ear plugs / eye mask for optimal sleep.

This property had potential to be 4 or 5 stars. Overall everything was great but unfortunately the air conditioning unit appeared to be controlled remotely and did not allow the temperature to drop below 78 degrees. When we called customer support we were provided a response that the air conditioning would be looked at and if it couldn't be fixed fans would be provided. I don't believe anyone looked at the air conditioning. Fans were provided, but that wasn't enough to make the climate comfortable.
