I didn’t like the way it was portrayed on Expedia website as free internet, breakfast, gym etc. when in fact at check in there is a mandatory fee of 20$ for these services. I was told by desk clerk it is listed at the bottom of confirmation email which is a very deceptive practice imo. These services should not be listed as included in room price when in fact they are separate fee. There are 3 in my party yet I was gave only 2 breakfast vouchers per hotel policy. If you have a cell phone or other device to charge be sure to bring an adapter as there are no ubs ports in the room with only one electric outlet in bedroom and two in bathroom. Room is clean but bed linens old and should be replaced.

Great location and comfortable

Nice and clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was wonderful. It’s walking distance to the cute downtown area. So a good location. My only complaint was the air or carpet freshener in the room was overwhelming for my allergies.

I absolutely loved the location and charm of this hotel. It was quiet, check in was easy, and breakfast was really good. However, i wished that breakfast stayed open about 30 minutes to an hour longer than 930 am. The water was hot in the shower/tub. I wished that the bathroom was cleaner; more specifically, the tub. However, i did bring cleaning supplies and cleaned the tub myself. There were hairs left from the last guest. The toilet was a bit low especially for someone older or with bad knees. Otherwise, everything was great. Looking forward to staying again.

The hotel is very nice! The staff was helpful, and always smiling. But, the $20 resort fee is not feasible. It says that breakfast is free, but it’s not.

The road noise was a bit loud, even with continuous fan on. I don’t think the safe was workable. The clerk said she’d get maintenance to check it but I never heard anything back and it still didn’t work. They were stingy with towels and bath cloths even though we paid for 3 adults in room. But they were friendly and it was a super convenient location for Pilgramage.

Great ambience and view

Great hotel, great room along the river. I would recommend updating the room decor. It’s dated and has a smell to it because of age. I had to buy some linen spray to get the smell to go away. Also the bedroom need a larger TV. The room could also use more USB ports for electronics such as laptops, portable devices such as tablets and iPhones.
