We loved the big kitchen we are all cooks and it made it so easy. The kitchen was so beautiful and we had everything we needed. We had our rehearsal dinner there and the placement of the living room made it so easy to stay close to each other.

Wonderful stay!

We were a family of 8 adults and 5 kids. Had an amazing time! Plenty enough room for all of us. Had so many things to do at the house that we spent days just hanging out. We were so close to everything we wanted to do. We loved our stay so much we planning to book again next year.

Fishing jackpot!

If this venue had a pool it would be a 10/10. Only because we had little ones (7 and 4) and the current gets strong at times. I love that this house is so well laid out. Love the space inside and out. Tvs in the bedrooms are needed (again mainly for littles )but this requires you to get outside and enjoy Gods blessings of nature. So much to do even if it rains. The view is stunning and we caught enough fish in 1 day to feed all 11 of us! Amazing. Areas that could improve (only because we are coming back!) 1. Water pressure is terrible in showers.2. Downstairs shower didnt work at all and thats the only tub for littles. 3. The bed upstairs (queen) is rickety but comfy. 4. The upper level deck by the water is very loose. It sways pretty bad. Listen this place is huge i cant imagine the maintenence. It accommodated all our needs and then some. We WILL BE BACK!

Great Stay on the Lake

We love the home! Our favorite was the large kitchen and family den! We had a large group and were cooking for many and it made it so easy for us to do that and enjoy eachothers company! The deck and yard were also a great place for the kids to run around. We hope to come back!

weekend at schlitterbahn and on the river

We loved this house. The kitchen and family were large enough for all of us to be together and lots of games. The decks and outdoor seating was so great. The bedrooms were great and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the ping pong table too. We will definitely come back to stay. It was farther from town that we had stayed in the past but not too far, so it was perfect. It was really great to not be in the traffic. And the peacefulness of the outdoors and river and view was awesome.

Amazing place

We enjoyed our family trip. The house had plenty of space for everyone. The host was very good with communication, during a storm we lost the Internet and they were very quick to call the Internet provider and get someone out to the house to fix the Internet. I would definitely stay again at this house.

Great place for family fun!

Perfect in every way! Lots of things to do, lots of river tools, floats, etc. lots of seating for everyone inside and out. Kitchen stocked with utensils, serving, appliances and cooking containers. Thanks for a great place for memories. Definitely would return.

Great house and location!

This was a great place for our generational get away. Grand parents, adult children, and three grandkids, 3, 4, and 7. Tripp was very attentive to our questions and problems. Plumbing solved promptly, and he brought a fan when a room fan didn’t work. Every tool you might possibly need is in the kitchen. Nice pantry space. One thing to note, there are quite a few stairs to the main floor, to get in and out of the house. The house has lots of spaces to spread out as a family. River, decks, ground level patio/rec room, spacious kitchen area. Everyone’s beds were comfortable. The river level went up and down daily, but we found it great for the kids to wade in, float down, and for the adults to fish. Fishing was good too, wide mouth bass and catfish were caught. Lots of outdoor toys, and we left some also. Many different kinds of birds were seen, along with squirrels and deer. Loved the longhorns down the road. We enjoyed this place immensely.

Family and friends vacation

Beautiful amazing home our stay was great, it accommodated a large group of people we had an amazing time with family and friends. River was perfect for fishing kayaking and swimming we had an amazing outdoor cookouts in back porch balcony. Thank you to the owners they were very quick to respond to our questions, we had an amazing time. Totally recommend to stay here .

The house’s amenities were beyond what we were expecting. They practically give their home to you. Location was great as well. Even though the damn was getting repaired, water was still flowing, which was definitely a plus.

Great river house

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is huge and it was well stocked. The 12 of us (8 adults and 4 children, aged 6 and under) had plenty of room. We had a great time playing in the river. For small children, it was nice that there was a gate on the deck and also one down by the dock. Great for families!

Awesome property

House was very nice. There were 13 in our family and we had lots of room and amenities. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking my coffee in the mornings. Very quite and peaceful. Owners did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Excellent Service

The Owner was the person that saved the day. He was super responsive and corrected ever issue quickly and correctly. The comfort and space of the inside of the rental was excellent and in general was well cared for. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was due to operational issues related to outdoor games and grilling. Other corrections I would make is cutting back on trees from the deck so that insects and caterpillars do not fall on people and chairs on the deck. If I could I would call it a 4.5

If you are looking for a place to stay, I totally recommend booking this property. The home and property is beautiful and spacious for a small family gathering with plenty of activities for all ages. Home is fully stocked with everything that you may need during your stay and owner is very quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. The lake is a little low as described but worked out perfectly as it was low enough for our 5 and 6 year olds to swim. However the water does get deeper (about 5ft) as you a swim up the lake. Overall the family had such a great time that we did not want to leave, we will definitely be back soon!

River Days

Three moms bravely took a group of graduated seniors to spend some time on the lake and river in New Braunfels. We enjoyed the property and amenities and were about 20 minutes from Schlitterbahn, Texas Tubes, Gruene, and other favorite NB spots.
