Good for the price. Breakfast foods were cold. Hallway carpets could be scrubbed. Room clean though. For some reason hairdryer handle was sticky.

Only issue I had it that there were 3 entrances requiring key to access but only on worked for the guests. So essentially the front lobby and only one side door for entrance with guest key, a little inconvenient at times.

The Garland Hotel in New Concord is my new go-to as a half-way stop between NJ and IL! I loved the cleanliness, service, decor -- everything! The staff even graciously allowed me to check in early when I arrived before 3:00 -- a great comfort in an area where there's no nearby shopping or dining. I'm actually looking forward to my return trip next week and the promise of a good night's sleep in a lovely hotel. I'll just make sure I bring food with me : )

This hotel has a very contemporary feel to it which was nice. Everything was clean and room was spacious for us. Morning breakfast meal was of high quality and hot also which most hotels do not do anymore.

Clean, comfortable, affordable

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It’s so rare that I find a room that is that clean in any hotels so this was a treat. I love that the toilet was had a semi-privacy wall from the sink and shower. I forgot to take pictures of the bed, but there were ample pillows and a soft duvet. Breakfast offered hot and cold options, juice, coffee, and lemon water.

Beautiful and clean. The room we were in was brand new and I’m not even sure anyone else has ever stayed in it. It was larger than most hotel rooms. The breakfast area was pristine. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
