This is an excellent budget hotel. We were surprised to find a kitchenette and used it. Our room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. It also had a new heat pump ac.

The door handle on the fridge/sink/stove combo was attached with duct tape and hot glue. The carpets were gross and the beds were 3/4 not even a double. Disappointing.

Don't get fooled by old reviews, this place didn't get cared of since a lot of time. Look at recent reviews. Room was dirty (sticky floor, wall) Room was in a bad condition (missing tiles, wallpaper peeling off and more) Plumbing doing awful loud noises (had hot water) Uncomfortable beds. Broken furniture. mattress protector was stained bad. Tv and wifi was good. Worst night ever.

Try somewhere else. Owners do not care.

Hot plate on top of stove. Blackish mold on tub grout, and tub was tiny. We shipped a shower and just hit the road. Ewwww.

In Pictou for a family wedding

Great affordable room, very friendly staff. My only wish is that I needed a plug in for my hair dryer next to a mirror! Bathroom one wouldn’t work, and the only other one I found was in the kitchenette. One other small disappointment, I could get th3 coffee machine to work properly, got lukewarm coffee. Would indeed stay there again.
