We were traveling for hours and wanted to make sure we got a relaxing night before we continued on another ten hours the following day so when we saw a Hampton we thought this is more expensive but at least we will rest . I honestly have never stayed in a Hampton this with this feel. The room was so small there barely room to walk comfortably between the foot of the bed and the tv stand . It was terrible . I literally wanted to cry . We were so tired and spent the extra money for a Hampton and this was it . I’ve stayed in many Hampton inns and you usually know what to expect.. I wanted to get a good shower and put all of my things out ( men this is not for you ) like your night time creams , conditioner , lotions but no room to put anything . I don’t have photos . I wanted to sleep and get away as fast as I could . It honestly felt like someone bought an old hotel and put a Hampton sign on it . We’re from Tennessee and maybe that is the way it is in this area .

Perfectly fine for an overnight stay

Staff were welcoming and helpful from front desk to housekeeping and breakfast staff. The room was small but adequate for an overnight stay. Comfortable and clean.

My room was the smallest I have ever experienced at a Hampton. Night staff at check in was quite a contrast to the pleasant nature of the day staff. My stay happened to occur while some sort of large youth baseball group was also staying. They ran up and down the halls as boys will do when allowed. I saw no evidence of this being checked by staff although staff was seen on my floor on several occasions during this stay.

The property is old and shows its age. I was disturbed by the noise from I-95 highway. Bathroom drainage is horrible and the lights are too dim. Staff was friendly and helpful. The deficiencies seem to stem from corporate policies. I will avoid Hilton hotels.
