Everything that was once fun and cool about this retro little motel is basically gone. 10 years ago - the kitchy, retro remodel was fresh and in good shape. Now, the decor is tired, things are broken and they've completely shifted to no employees onsite. The great little continental breakfast is gone, theres no one manning the front desk and housekeeping is sparce. Given what you now get - the price should be much lower than it is. Its really too bad. This had potential to he a fun, retro throwback motel - and now its just an older, getting tired stop with all of its charm fading away. The only great thing (and they are LUCKY to have them!) Is the Barcelona Wine Bar downstairs. Wish the owners cared 😔

I do not like the way you have to Check-in. The app Would not.upload my pictures had. It took over an hour to get my pictures taken to register. TV had no signal had to remove to another room after I unpacked. Besides, the waiting to get registered very poor system. They should check the equipment before you enter the room.

I liked the easy check-in process and the room was OK but it was tired. The biggest issue was the heat/air conditioning unit. It was loud and cycled on and off frequently. It would also be more convenient to have a mini-fridge in the unit.

Waste of money

Was down here for a charity event and needed a hotel room to get some sleep between events. Tried to get to sleep for 2 hours, I was placed in a ground floor room with a utility access grate in front of it, every time I was about to get to sleep someone would step on it and it made a loud metallic bang. People were extremely loud outside of my room standing and smoking in the parking lot, and rooms surrounding me people were yelling and banging around well past midnight. Next time, I'll spend more money for a hotel. If you're looking to party or pick up a hooker on a saturday night, my guess is Hi Ho is the place to be.

The room was very clean but miniscule for the price charged. The contactless checkout did not work at all via phone or even laptop with wifi. Had I not know there was sister hotel I would have never gotten my passcode at all. Other customers were having the same problem with not a single employee at the locked office. I called that sister hotel and they DID NOT help me via phone. I finally had to drive there, demand service to be registered to get this resolved. That was an hour round trip in Saturday afternoon, congested traffic. i had already driven two hours in heavy traffic to the hotel site. This is absurd.
