Staff overwhelmed at check in. Waited a long time for the room. The desk person scribbled the Wi-Fi password on the key card. Therefore, in the night, when I tried to read I did not have Wi-Fi. A elevator was broken so the wait was long for that also. They should not book more capacity than they can handle.

My stay was comfortable, but…

My stay at the Holiday Inn - Superdome was good. The location met my expectations. The room was clean and the bedding comfortable. The only issue that arose during my five-night stay was that the in-room tv/entertainment offering in my room stopped working during the first night of my stay. When I inquired at the front desk, I was given a blanket the system is being worked on and is a known issue. I was without access to local tv and cable tv, a situation that was not resolved during my five-night stay. I would hope that this is not a normal occurrence at this location and going forward I would like to advise that communication regarding any shortcomings would be helpful.
