Our stay at the Hotel Monteleone was amazing. All the staff we were around made us feel so welcome. They were helpful and we felt as if we were leaving friends. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. When we get back to New Orleans, we will definitely here. We highly recommend the Hotel Monteleone!

The hotel was beautiful upon arrival. Staff was very friendly, but problems arose when we went to the room. Found trash stuck to the bed, hair on the shower and shower walls. There was construction in the room across from us and it started in the morning and went on all day. We weren’t notified of that, we were only notified of the window cleaning. Other than that, area around the hotel was great.

One cannot mention the Monteleone Hotel without mentioning the Carousel Bar. We first arrived at the hotel early in the morning and had decided to do an early check-in as we had made reservation for the Carousel Bar. What a good decision it was! We had stayed at another hotel on Bourbon St and decided this time around to stay a street or 2 behind, which we're happy we did. As much as everything at the Hotel is first class, what topped it all was the staff. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who loves being in the French Quarter but doesn't necessarily want to be surrounded by the Hussle & Bussle of Bourbon St. Will definitely book there again on our next trip!
