As a disabled person, there were no restaurants within comfortable walking distance. We had to do Door Dash and the delivery person couldn’t bring the food to my door due to hotel policy so my food and drinks were left downstairs that I had to go and retrieve it. I wish I would have caught that when I made my reservation. This is the only issue I had with this trip which was for medical testing at LCMC.

Family Reunion Inspection

I blocked rooms for my family reunion back in August 2024. Family members had concerns about the Google reviews, so I made a special trip to New Orleans to inspect the hotel and see what was really going on at this location. Upon entry there was a sewer smell, nothing unbearable but noticeable. Approached the check in desk and was greeted properly with friendly and helpful customer service. The King rooms are not spacious but the bed is huge and comfortable. No issues with cleanliness! Both elevators were working and noticed no service issues with them. The parking wasn’t the best but I suggest parking across the street rather behind the building if you will be using your own vehicle throughout the day. Security presence was seen at 9pm and upon check out at 10am the following day, so I detected no immediate security concerns but with anything always be aware of your surroundings and able to identify a threat! Overall I have no complaints and look forward to going back in July to enjoy with my entire family. I’m really big on reviews and I’m not one to usually stay at a 3 star hotel. We gave our group options with a 3 & 4 star , let’s just say I’ve changed my reservation over to the 3 star!

The location was great. The room and bathroom was clean. There is no parking at the hotel. You park behind the hotel in public parking. The hotel staff were not very helpful. The ice machine ( which the first employee I asked did not even know where it was)- had no ice.
