The good: We had the large suite, which was good for spreading out and the front desk folks were delightful. The bad: It’s old and beat up. New owners don’t seem to have done any of the deferred maintenance. While I enjoyed the Hasidic neighborhood, my husband did not. For the price, I wish we’d stayed elsewhere.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Having a microwave and fridge is convenient but there are no dishes provided. Hotel is not conveniently located to trains that go to manhattan. I emailed Manager twice prior to arrival about an issue and never got a response. Luggage storage was offered prior to/after check out which is terrific, but they don’t secure it or even give you a tag so anyone could possibly walk away with your stuff. Ironing board didn’t stay standing and front desk never sent anyone to replace it. The hotel was convenient for a wedding we attended but I would never stay there again.

Reception was not 24hrs. Had a sign saying be back in 5 minutes however did not even return after 30 minutes or longer. We had to catch a flight and left the key on the desk. Unsure how much longer the reception returned. No answer for phone or text. Door room latch was broken and reception smells bad. Showers make a squeaky noise and taps were loose and needs fixing. Would not recommend if you are looking for a 4 star hotel as they had advertised.

Room was spacious and contained a kitchenette (but no dishes or silverware). Unfortunately there was such intensive construction outside that it was nearly impossible to get our luggage down the street after check-out. Front desk checked in with us about arrival details and had good communication.
