We stayed at Hampton Inn and loved the experience. The room had a city view room 2905 and it did not disappoint. The hotel is one block from the bus station. We took the bus for $22 a person from NYC to Newark Airport. The hotel is about two blocks from Time Square and the subway station. There are tons of shopping and dinning options. They have complimentary coffee, water and tea all day/night. The staff at the front desk were SUPER nice. We arrived early and they invited us to have breakfast while we waited for our room. The only downside to our stay was 1. The elevator wait, they have three elevators but given the number of guest it took 5-10 minutes to catch the elevator, 2. Breakfast was only waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes and cereal. Wish they would have had fruit or other options. John/Joe? handled our luggage and informed us that we could also use their flat rate transportation to the airport for $105 for three people. We would have definitely considered that as an option had we not bought bus tickets.
