We were in town to see Broadway shows, and the location of the hotel was perfect for that. Minutes from every Broadway theatre. Shopping and dining options were prime, and the rooms were cozy with comfy beds and terrific views. There are no rooms beneath the 12th floor so no matter what you get, the rooms are quieter than they would be on street level, which is a win.

Good but could be much better

The place was a little worn, and it seemed like there has not been much improvement recently. However, not an issue given the relative price compared to surrounding hotels. No complaints on that end. Great staff, clean and kept up rooms. There is one major problem we had: only 3 of the 5 elevators were working and one of them had difficulty reading the room keycards. This was a huge problem during busy check-in/out periods and other peak movement periods. Great location for those who want the Times Square experience.

The drain in the bathroom was dirty and broken. Shower was moldy and the carpet of the room was dirty and old. My preference of the hotel however was the space. It was definitely more spacious than other hotels in New York that I’ve been to

Front desk staff was amazing and very accomodating. In room, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, no washcloths, shower curtain was broke and wouldn't stay closed, dried blood on the wall, several dresser drawers were broken, soap dispensers were empty. Very dissapointed.

Smell of marijuana is all over the hotel. Don’t get me wrong this place is in a good location for all the tourist attractions. It is not recommended if your little kids traveling with you.

The staff were very friendly and helpful 10/10 customer service. The property is walking distance from Times Square and was very convenient. The room is in okay condition. However the toilet gave us trouble every single day of the trip and we had to keep calling reception to send the handy man to unclog it. However the receptionist gave us a discount for the trouble. The room was also very hot, I would recommend leaving the windows open. Overall a great stay.

Loved the location, it was literally down the street from time square….. but the hotel definitely needs some up grades to the rooms and to be thoroughly cleaned after all check outs ( found underwear behind the tv in the second room that they had changed me to) and it was a bad smell when you first walked in the hotel like it was sewage or dirty mop…..

This was once a grand hotel; however it is no longer. Thermostat in our room was non functioning, requiring us to leave window open. Actually both windows were broken. The door that apparently once housed a refrigerator was hanging by its hinges. Bathroom grout appeared dirty. There were no drinking glasses nor coffee maker in room. There was no restaurant nor coffee shop on premises. Fire alarm sounded @ approx 9pm & we were told the water pipes were being checked. The location was excellent but we cannot recommend this hotel.
