You mainly pay for location. We got in late and was grateful they held our booking. The room itself wasn’t anything extravagant, but we weren’t looking to be in the room all that much. When I took my shoes off, the carpet was soaked and I noticed a mildew/mold smell. The next day I informed them of this and they sent up an engineer to tighten something. The A/C then wouldn’t cool the room and they sent another engineer to the room and he just killed the heat, so we really couldn’t adjust the A/C or heat like we would’ve liked. Overall, the experience was fine and the staff was pleasant. There weren’t many outlets and there was no counter space, but we made it work.

The main lobby area and bar were nice, and the location was convenient to everything. The rooms, on the other hand, were tiny. Our first room only had 1 towel, a tiny bed, and the TV and thermostat didn't work. We were hoping to get something a little nicer or at least get something knocked off our bill since the first night was rough, but we got a carbon copy of the room... but TV and thermostat worked. We did enjoy the live music in the lobby, so that was a plus.

Our bathroom shower was very clogged and the heater didn’t work till I called to come fix it. Didn’t like that I had to pay to store my luggage for a couple of hours after checkout, also wasn’t able to use the bathrooms in the lobby after checking out.

Hotel was not well kept, one the bar was mostly a lobby waiting area, staff was inattentive. Rooms were uncomfortable, bed was not a full it was also uncomfortable and not clean. I would never even at zero cost stay with this hotel again.

No hot water for 2 days. Heating unit leaked & soaked and stained our clothes & suitcases. They didn't even send anyone to dry the carpet. Basically told us to contact expedia. 2 towels in room-no hand towels or wash cloths, not even a disposable cup in the bathroom. Only good thing about the place is the location

Overall, we had a very good stay. we loved the location and being so close to Times Square and the theaters. Also, we loved the lobby, it was very cozy, warm and inviting. The receptionist that checked us in seemed new and bumbled a bit. He did not tell us where the elevators were or any other information to enhance our stay at this hotel.
