The Paramount Hotel

The hotel was amazing; as my husband would say, "it was top shelf" The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with parking. The hotel is located in the theater district, so we walked to Broadway to catch the play we came to see 👀 Michael Jackson! All- in- all it was a great experience. I would definitely stay again. Our price was right.

The bathroom needs updating especially the toilet and shower. The bed was comfortable but had a bad squeak. They only give you two towels and the available hooks don’t hold the towels so they end up on the floor.

I arrived early and was told that it would cost me extra to check in at that time or I could wait until 4 pm to check in. I didn’t want to pay extra to check in early, so I decided to wait. Overall the room was outdated. The shower head came off when we tried to turn it, water barley came out of the sink with both handles turned, there were stains on the sheets and floor, and we didn’t receive any plastic bags for the trash cans which seemed unhygienic. On top of these things, we were charged an extra $137.00 in check in for a cleaning fee that was hidden in the “fine print” and the rooms were still presented in this condition.

I wouldn't stay there again

Hot water was out the first night. They thankfully fixed the next day but apparently more than half the hotel was without hot water for the entire weekend. They only provided two towels for the room. The card readers for the elevator and the stairwell often did not work. The room itself was pretty bare bones. It is nicely centrally located. The lobby is pretty to look at. I wouldn't stay there again though.

Overall OK. When we checked in we were informed of no hot water. The next morning there was still no hot water when showering. I called the front desk and they sent me over to a managers voicemail. I never heard back from anyone.
